Horizon will not launch

My friend and I downloaded horizon and neither of us can open it, we get the splash screen but we don’t get the actually program. Both of us have Malwarebytes premium and he has windows 7 I have windows 10 and Ive tried download windows network frame thing 3.5 and I launched as admin, uninstalled and reinstalled, pretty much everything you can find on the forums I’ve tried. Here are my specs

Type of Problem: Does not load program after splash screen
OS: Windows 10
Antivirus/Firewall installed: Malwarebytes
Errors: None

Have you tried installing MS C++ Redistributable package 2010?

No I have not…
Edit it gave the error, a newer version is on the computer.

2 Edit Also if anyone knows if its safe to mod forza horizon if I plan to play with my friend on a modded account.

I have the same error as Itz, with the exceptions of OS and AV. Windows 8 and no antivirus, I’ve also installed the C++ Redist. Pack. 2010 to no avail, I will not get an error whatsoever. All it was is make it to the splash screen and that’s it

Well my next suggestion is going to be disable malwarebytes completely. The issue could be related to a windows .net framework error that is out of our hands.

Aww… Ive tried that and same thing… Well I guess time will have to tell but about the safe to mod horizon 1 I would still like to know that.

I just ran my computer in safe mode and oddly enough managed to get Horizon to work -with what would have presumably been 100% minus internet- flawlessly, I have no idea what could be running to block it since I have no AV and it’s not blocked in t he firewall
