What is wrong with it exactly ?
Logo shows for two seconds or three and then disappears 
i’ve been looking into this issue for about 3 days now, its taken this long to get to the root cause of the issue.
I have a Windows 7 PC, a Windows 8.1 PC and a brand new Windows 10 tablet (it came with it, i would have preferred 7 if i could have had it) all with the same issue as reported (logo comes up for a couple of seconds followed by the application exiting).
The answer (which i hope the mods will bump up this thread and put it somewhere people can see it) as this seems to be an ever increasing issue is… that you need the later C++ Redistributable Package - i used the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).

This has fixed the issue on both computers and the tablet.
