Whenever I try to open Horizon on my laptop running Windows 7 i get the following: Horizon has stopped working. I have an official copy of windows and horizon and i have unblocked it in properties so i cant see what the issue is. Can someone please help me…

Do you have .net framework installed? If so what version? My .net is 4.6.1 and Horizon works perfectly.
Also this post may be worth looking at since they had the same problem and this worked.
Please don’t copy and paste reply’s thoughtlessly. The user did specify the OS and .net 3.5 is required even if you have 4.6.1.
I copied my old reply and had forgotten he/she said Windows, so I didn’t remove OS. Sorry. I only copied it for the link to 4.6.1 (website)
Does it repeatedly happen. Next time it happens, close it manually via Windows Task Master, and reopen it. If it works, great. If it don’t and repeatedly says the error, re-download horizon.
