How to download Facebook games/other SWF items

Before we start, just know that Firefox is required for this. I mean, you might be able to do it with another browser, but I only know how to do it with Firefox. Also, I’m making this tutorial specific to Facebook games to save a lot of time. But it’s basically the same for any other website.

  1. Go to the page of the Facebook game as if you were going to play it.
  2. Right-click and choose “View Page Info.”
  3. Go to the “Media” tab on the top.
  4. Scroll through the list until you find the item that’s listed as an “Object” under the “Type” column.
  5. Click it once and then click “Save As…”
  6. Go to where you downloaded it and open it with Firefox.

That’s it. I recommend trying this with “Robot Unicorn Attack,” don’t ask why, I just do.

If you were to do this on another website besides Facebook, you would typically look for an item that’s listed as “Embedded” under “Type.”

Comment, Thanks, whatever. Haha.

Bump. Nobody cares?

its pretty interesting, i care :stuck_out_tongue:

I care. For the game I’m attempting to do (Bejeweled Blitz) there ar multiple object files. Should I just grab em all and place them in the same directorY?

I would think so, yeah.
