How to Sign into Xbox Live while appearing Offline!

Ok, so most of you know how to appear offline. Well there is always the one problem of it saying the last time you were online, so it gives your friends the thought that you are just appearing offline. Well I have a solution for this problem.

There are two ways to approach this, I’ll list both.

Step 1: Take out your Ethernet cord from your Xbox, you don’t have to do this if you have an Xbox Live passcode.

Step 2: Turn on your Xbox.

Step 3: Your account should show up and say “Disconnected”. If you see that then go your preferences and click appear offline.

Step 4: Plug in your Ethernet cable back into your Xbox, you don’t have to do this if you have an Xbox Live passcode.

Step 5: Sign into Xbox Live. For the Xbox Live passcode users, you just type in the passcode and sign in.

There was “Useful Tutorial” made into 5 simple steps. I hope it helps you guys, I use this method of signing in all the time, as I have the passcode set so I can sign in whenever I want to, as its not that much of a hassle to type in the passcode.

So yea thats about it! Not the greatest Tutorial I have made but some people might not know how to do this.

you can also make it so you don’t automatically sign into a profile when you turn the xbox on, you’ll just be on the dashboard. you can scroll over to Preferences, set to Appear Offline, and then you can sign in offline.

that’s the method i use, i find it much faster than unplugging my Ethernet every time.

people know about this :smile: but i never knew you could do it this way i made my profile so it has a passcode so i jus appear offline before coming online but nice post for people that didnt know about this :smile:
