I had forgotten that Infinity gets left running in the background. I played Mordhau earlier which has VAC but I wasnt using the trainer for cheats itself. Do I run the risk of a VAC-Ban from having it left in the background like that or only if I were to have activated cheats during gameplay?

I wouldnt think so. If your not actually cheating in an online game
Yeah, you probably wouldn’t have anything happen if it’s not connected to the game. If you start up the game via the WeMod (Infinity) program, then it will be noticed as an injection and will probably get you banned. As long as you don’t launch vac from WeMod, you’re fine to do whatever.
