I downloaded Infinity and had no problems installing. When I double click to open Infinity nothing happens. It shows up in Task Manager and then disappears shortly after. There were a couple other topics with this issue but there was no definite fix, just suggestions (which I have tried). Is there any update on how to fix it, work arounds, or when it will be fixed? Thank you in advance.
Have you tried deleting the following file?
C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Local\Daring Development\Infinity\Storage\Infinity.sdf
Sorry, didn’t have internet the past couple days so I didn’t see your reply. I did just try your suggestion but when I ran Infinity it recreated the file and the original problem still happens.
yeah I’m having the same issue. Only difference is, when I deleted the infinity.sdf file, it opened for about 5 seconds and then closed again.
ok not sure if this helps but I figured out if you open it while offline it will work. Problem is you can’t login while offline so the problem still remains…
Its probably a connectivity related issue. Check your firewall or antivirus as they are the ones always ■■■■■■■ with other programs.
On my computer there is not such a file. only c:\users\ME\AppData\Local\Infinity
This thread is extremely old and no longer relevant. When Infinity was updated to 2.0 install paths changed. Also please keep any discussion about your issue in the thread you made. You will get a reply from Frank or another dev when they see it.
