Invalid STFS: Invalid number of free blocks

Anyone know how to go about fixing STFS Error? Maybe take a look at profile for me?
(Included logs from HORIZON and then NET FRAMEWORK Unhandled Exception…)

Horizon gaze me an error message on my profile that had been messed up for a while.

  • When playing any new game with profile logged on it would not add a gpd file for the new game. Would not save achievements also (obviously)
    ====
    Loaded profile into Horizon and it gave me a clue whats wrong for first time.

Horizon Error message )when tried to save profile)
" STFS: INVALID NUMBER OF FREE BLOCKS DETECTED WHILE ALLOCATING BLOCKS…
AN ERROR HAS OCCURED WHILE SAVING
MAY BE DUE TO IMPROPER (PACKET/PACKAGE- CAN’T READ MY WRITING!) THAT WAS MODIFIED BY ANOTHER TOOL…
"

WOULD YOU LIKE HORIZON TO ATTEMPT TO FIX?

TRIED TO FIX WITH HORIZON… GOT ERROR MESSAGE.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

For example:

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging=“true” />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

Have you tried recovering your account? >.<

Maybe try using Horizon in safe mode as well.

Recover your Profile from Xbox LIVE. That will fix it.

it’s on a jtag, sorry didn’t mention…

Do you have a retail console to recover the account on?

If you want I can recover it and send it to you?

Try putting Horizon in safe mode. Load up the profile in the achievement unlocker once, then close it. Turn off safe-mode.

Do the stuff that the people above suggested. If none of those work, upload your profile so we can take a look at it.

He’s not diamond… :stuck_out_tongue:

“STFS: invalid number of free blocks detected while allocating blocks”…
Then I get unhandled exception in net framework when trying to fix in horizon. its error:
" Index was out of range. Must be non negative and less than size of collection"

Any ideas: Tried loading in horizon in safe mode and it spit out unhandled exception error again…

I think I screwed it up a while ago using Lefluffie or modio! :anguished:

could you look at it for me… anyone know what “index out of range” means?

“index out of range” is referring to some sort of array/list indexing error. It’s attempting to call an index that’s not within the array.

Modio probably screwed it up, it doesn’t handle STFS correctly, least it didn’t when I was there. I’d send your profile to Cheater912 and Unknown v2 in a private message plus a link to this thread.

Also remember to make backups.

Try this:

  1. Reinstall your .net framework Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) for Server Core
  2. Dont Extract the profile then mod it just mod directly as is from your flash drive click the profile in device explorer and click mod when you save it rehashes and resigns directly to your device (ive had trouble modding profiles ive extracted to my pc)
  3. If it dont work the first time try again I’ve had to click a button more than once before it would work
  4. after every little thing you mod always like save example: (I unlock all the achivements for game A i click save it rehashes and resigns to device then i unlock the achievments for game B Save Then game C.
  5. After loading the profile onto your xbox go on live look at your achivments make sure they are there then delete your profile then recover it from xbox live your achivments will be there and in the system if you keep your modded profile on your xbox raises your probability of getting reset.

I guess I keep forgetting to mention this is a jtag profile. It started as xbl but transferred to jtag and has been offline for 1 yr + can’t recover or anything like that…

Thanks, I’ll try the outlined up till the recovery part…

i have the same problem bro, your not lonely.
