Is It Possible To Convert An ISO Image to HDD Data?

A couple of days ago, my Halo Anniversary disc stopped playing. The disc can be recognized as a game, but can’t be played anymore. I had it installed to HDD, but deleted it before the incident that lead up to the game to not play.

I see tutorials to convert ISO images to GOD, but that’s for modified Xboxes only, and to play without disc, which is not what I’m asking for.

The idea is to download the ISO image for the game, manage to convert it to HDD data, and use the disc to play it. I hope that’s clear.

Any help?

wont work. from what i remember, when you install the game to your HDD, it also uses the DVD key. only thing you can do is get a used one from gamestop, install it, then return it

I believe you wont be able to do that no.
Ive been away from the 360 a long while so i dont know if any methods is up for this but i think not.
Believe no other way to convert it to any data will be possible either in the future.

So what you are left wit his either

As Aden said, you can do is maybe get a used one from Gamestop.
Or of course you can modify your Xbox.

OK, thanks for clearing that up.

I want to add something to this conversation. If you install a game disc, it will still require a working game disc everytime you start up the game. See if you can borrow a working disc from someone (or what Aden suggested), install it and try to start the game with your scratched disc.

Can’t you install a game to hdd, then hot swap to the game you want to install? Then just start the game by putting the original disk in? I feel like I’ve done some thing like that.

Disk 1 = prototype
Disk 2 = cod: gay
Install prototype, switch disk to cod gay. It installs cod gay as prototype, start prototype with prototype disk, cod gay starts?
