my antivirus freaked out about it and i closed the game and every time i quarintined/removed it, it just came back, had to do a windows offline scan to fix it

Trainers will trigger a false positive with antiviruses every now and again, no matter where you get them from. This is purely because of how they work and they are completely harmless.
