i got watch dogs on a disk and it installed into uplay and now infinity wont detect it. is there a way to make this work?
Try starting the game first and then launching the trainer.
Infinity might be looking in the wrong folder for the game .exe file.

Click on the game name in infinity, it should show a big Pick folder button. Click on that and choose your game folder.
what folder would that be
Most likely where ever your game installed, so based on your previous post, your UPlay folder should work.
