I just want to let others know this scammer is almost legit sounding.
I call this number and thinking it was a job calling to set up an interview. I get answered saying this ks yada from performance technologies and what is you’re name. I say it. Then they proceed saying I need to give them my address and phone number. Last one I was a bit puzzled on. They ask if I’m l yada. I say yah and ask me for my ssn. I say no. Than they say, we already have it on file, we just need you to verify the last 4. I told them I never give it out and hung up.
So, if you get a call from performance technologies, its an irs scam trying to scare you. I’m certain a lot of you know this but I wanted to get others aware of this.
