Hi guys i found this ps3 80gb pre-owned form gamestop.com i was wondering if it is worth buying it and what model it is i only ask cuz im not a play station kind of guy so i dont know a lot i really want to know about this ps3 because i don’t want to spend that much money on it for it to last 1 month ty for your help 
also i just want to know what is better pre-owned or refurbished
80gb means it is at least 5 years old because they quit making those in like 2010. I mean I have an original 80gb PS3 that still works to my knowledge.
How would we know the condition?

Refurbished means it was tested and reconditioned by the original manufacturer or a 3rd party that has the right to refurbish it. In some cases it could be a product that was returned to a store because it had damage to the package, or it could be a damaged product, or it could be a perfectly functioning product that someone just decided that didn’t want to keep. You really never know with refurbished products. I’ve had pretty good luck with refurbished stuff I’ve bought in the past, but I’ve never bought a refurbished game console.
Used is used. I have electronics, game consoles, old ass CDs and DVDs that I’ve had for close to 20 years that are still mint condition because I take care of my property. Some people beat on their stuff, and just don’t take care of anything. So with used it could be a gem or junk.
You need to be wise in your purchase of anything. I would suggest that you save up and just buy brand new items if you need to ask questions like this. I was young once too, and bought some junk. As you age you will learn how to judge things, and more importantly the people selling them. For now just stay safe.
the only prop is that i dont have a job so im basically relining on what i get for Christmas and birthday money thats why i asked for ps3 under 100 bucks 
I’m very confident that you could find some way to make a few bucks a week. Think about it. How hard would it be to make $1 a day doing some chore for someone? At that rate you could save up close to $100 in 3 months. Maybe walk a neighbors dog or just scoop up that dog’s doodie after the neighbor walks it. Just do it. Make a few bucks. Get a Xbox One or PS4 before March 2016. Why settle for a PS3 when you could really step it up?

Go dumpster diving some Electronics and then sell them. I have done it a few times but im not sure if recycling Works the same way in America
There’s is always work for young kids but you need to be persistent. And I would take Wonda’s advice, save up and buy a Xbox One or PS4. It looks like they’re going to for $350 new, but I didn’t look around much. That might take you longer, but trust me, you’ll be thankful you passed on last-gen consoles for new-gen.
If you’re really desperate to make money, Amazon Mech. Turk is the way to go but damn it would take quite some time and devotion to make $350. I once spent 6+ hours typing the dialog of some interview for like $18 so yeah don’t do that.
I can’t speak on diving for electronics but 50% of the clothes I own, I’ve found in dumpsters and I’ve sold quite a few things that I’ve found in dumpsters, neither of which I believe to be legal in the US though.
