As a heads up only the Instant Skill Charge, Unlimited Souls, and Unlimited Money work on the Steam version
Super damage is not reversed back when turned off, and instant skill charge is not turned on.

Thanks for the update, but the two guys are still there (I tried with a friend).
You have to disable immortality to have a chance of defeating them.
According to a forum that creates tables for the cheat engine, there’s an anti-cheat in a game dll file.
Unfortunately, the hardcore mod is required if you want to see the end of the game.
