Pod2g has found an exploit. It will work with all devices.
Pod2g handed over all of his work the chronic dev team to continue his work as he furiously works on the iPhone 4S jailbreak.

Some people expected it to be released to tonight but that hasn’t happened yet.
Chances are, it will be out within 2 weeks.

I will post here as soon as I hear about it. Will make a tut shortly after.

He’s holding on to the unteather till the 4s is complete. He doesn’t want to release the 5.0.1 for the older devices because apple may push 5.1 that seals the JB. It sucks waiting because I’m still using a 3gs NBR. But I understand the cat and mouse game. So hopefully soon.

I like AppCake more. Can’t wait to get my jailbreak apps on my iPhone 4S.

AppCake is a good source for Apps in my opinion, But i don’t particularly like their GUI.

But, yes appcake is another alternative to Installous for those wondering.

Update: Cofounder of i4siri project has tweeted saying that they are setting up a Siri testing server now.
He is planing to release the software to extract Siri keys from the 4S ipsw shortly. He has also said that the fully functioning port should hopefully be available within the week.

Jailbreak tweaked chpwn has just released “spire”. Spire allows you to install the official Siri files from apple legally. Although you still need a proxy server or 4S keys to access the official Siri network.

Yes, Although, its not a full siri port yet. You could Jailbreak, Download “Spire” and go to Sirikeys And pay $5 a month for Siri.

You might also be able to find a free proxy somewhere, but i don’t recommend this.

you need to update this. there is untethered jailbreaks for 4.2.1 on ipod touch 2g i know for sure because i have a 2nd generation. greenpois0n works fine
