most of these mods work the only one that doesn’t work is the fast research mod.
Problem: Master Of Orion just collapses when trying to startup a game w/ Wemod running. Randomly it starts (1 out of 20 maybe), but again gets stuck at 300-400 rounds.
Steam-version and PC.
Seems like this is an ongoing issue with Master Of Orion. Cheats work first time but when you attempt to open a saved file is just dies. It doesnt even allow you to make any comments directly from the download.

I know this game is old so there isn’t much interest left for it, but unfortunately the trainer isn’t working well anymore. Windows 11 Home with integrated antivirus and firewall here.
If I’m running the game from the WeMod app, as soon as it’s loading the last save, the game crashes without any error.
It still works if I’m loading the games without WeMod enabled and only after I’m enabling WeMod so at this point I’m better off without WeMod unfortunately, using the regular trainer, with all the rings and bells from Windows defender.
The really sad part for me is that the only thing I needed in with this trainer, the fast research, isn’t working well anymore. For some research it makes it instant, specially in the beginning of the game, but after a while it stops working by default, without touching it. So the option actually does nothing later in the game.
If you have few minutes to spare and look into it MrAntiFun, I would be grateful. Thank you very much.
LE: actually the research is working again if I close the game, start it normally with WeMod disabled and then re-enable WeMod with the gamesave loaded and activate later the cheat for fast research. The way to see if the research is working is to check if the research time is 1 on everything. If it’s higher, it means the cheat stopped working and I must restart the game to fix it.
My game crashes almost every time. I’m trying single player, and it crashes every time.
I think its safe to say that this trainer will never be updated again. The community asked for a update since over two years now and nothing happens.
I use only the Money and Population cheat that is built-in into the UCP (look in the Steam Workshop for the UCP to find a manual on how to enable the cheats).

Does this no longer work? Game crashes when trying to load or continue a saved game or even when trying to make a new game.
Like most MoO:CtS players, I do use the unofficial and 5x patch mods, but turning them off still crashes when trying to use the WeMod trainer.

I assume this trainer is meant to be used with the game without the unofficial community patch = a version of the game that nobody with a working brain will use.
Ok, i tested the new trainer. The good news is: it works with the community patch, BUT the fast production cheat will ruin your game because it will give you +15.000 production = the pollution will kill your planet withing a few rounds AND the newly added cheats won’t work (you can’t activate any of them).
