So I take my kid to McDonald’s almost every Friday if he does good in school (he always does). A few weeks ago I heard some other parents talking about the McDonlad’s app for smart phones and how great it is. I decided to download it and found that you can get a free sandwich for signing up. When I went to use it the first time I was surprised when the cashier told me you can get ANY sandwich you want, I said I’ll take a Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese Please. A few days later I was thinking I could just sign out of the app and make a new account and get the free sandwich offer back, well I was right, it worked. I’ve gotten 7 or 8 free sandwiches since then. I’m sure this will get patched someday, but for now it works.
Simple step by step:
-Just go to McDonalds.com on your smart phone and download the app
-Sign up using a legit email or just make one up until one works
-Fill in the rest of the required fields with random stuff
-Choose “Yeah, count me in!” for Offers, and “Yeah, count me in!” for Push Notifications.
-Skip or go through the tutorial
-The free sandwich offer might not show up right away, it could take up to an hour. Make sure you close the app completely and relaunch it until the offer appears.
-After using the free sandwich offer or any offer you like and want to use again, sign out, and sign up again with a different email, follow my steps above, and get your free sandwich offer and other offers back. Just be patient and wait for it to show back up in your available offers.
-Get fat like me for free lol. Enjoy.
(It’s best that you don’t do this everyday and try to eat healthy instead, but I’m not your mommy so do what you want)

I never said that. I’ve used it about 10 times so far over 16 days. I went into the same McDonald’s 2 days in a row and used it with the same employee at the register. I have 3 McD’s in my immediate area and have had no issues getting these free burgers.

Ive been milking this since they had the coupon on the original app that didnt use QR codes, you just pushed a button and showed the timer to an employee. Glad someone else figured out you can milk this.
I have a more efficient method though that doesn’t require making a new account every time, what youll wanna do is click use in restaurant, then screen shot the screen, back out and click it again and youll notice it generated a new 4 character code, redeem the second one(this will make the first code “invalid” which is perfect for what were doing!) .
Now, make a new account, and make sure you NEVER click use in store again, when you pull up to the drive thru they ask for the qr code, pull up your pictures app, have them scan it, they will say something like hmm for some reason thats not working(in their system it will just say the qr code is invalid instead of this has already been redeemed since we generated a new code earlier).
At this point you close photos app and open the mcdonald’s app and show them within the app that you have it(remember dont click use in store!), then they will just promo it out thinking the qr codes aren’t working (since it doesnt say already been redeemed, they wont suspect anything weird amd theyll just promo it).
Been using this to get all kinds of sandwiches since last year, I usually buy a 50 cent pie then use the coupon for the burger, cant beat a meal for .50 lol
Ive never had this not work lol, should it not, you got a real coupon ready to use, i prefer this method cuz im lazy and dont wanna have to make new accounts all the time!
Thanks for the exploit, by the way i’m employee for a local store and if i see anyone doing this I’ll call the police so thanks for the info. Also on a side note the techs who made the app already know about that exploit; it was just reported them just recently.
That’s a Mc buzz kill. If I can’t get my free Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese tomorrow I might just go Mc postal at one of my local McD’s restaurants. Please don’t snitch us out, we’re just trying to eat. I think those techies built the app that way so they can get free burgers when they’re on the road. Keep quiet please, pretty please? like I said, we just trying to eat, not get rich off this.

Get over it! It doesn’t affect you as an employee directly so why the hell do you care? McDonalds is a multi billion dollar corporation, they can afford to lose a few sandwiches to people with a brain because they don’t know how to secure their app.
