as far as rumble, thats the vibration in the controller. Its the choice between having the option of vibration or reducing the weight of the controller by atleast half.
I would choose with rumble. You could just remove them at home pretty easily. All you need is a 1.5 mm flat head or (if available) a T8H.

Rumbles are the things that make your controller vibrate, people have them removed because it makes the controller lighter.
