I think One Hit Kills may also be causing a crash. I know it’s being updated, but if it hasn’t been updated yet and you’ve experienced a crash to desktop (on Steam) while having that one activated, turn it off and see if it still happens for you. I had 3 desktop crashes while that cheat was activated. None with it not activated.

Trainer is unable to launch. Worked fine a few days ago. I see there was a game update and a trainer update however I now get a wemod error. “there was a problem loading the mods, if you didnt close the game, your game version might not be compatible… etc”
It’s working fine for me. You need to enable it when you’re on the title screen. It won’t work if you’re actively battling. Once it’s on, you’ll be able to toggle mods whenever you want 
Im not sure. Ive tried launching game with trainer, activating trainer during splash screen/main screen and menus etc. Also tried launching game as Admin. I get the same new error when I try the current 3.19.25 version or the prior 12.10.24 version
As I mentioned I had no issue activating it previously.
With the update to the game and trainer I keep getting the error.

Worth pointing out I did also purchase the Khaos Reigns Bundle (for all the additional characters)
Any additional ideas or assistance is appreciated.
::edit:: whats weird is ive gotten the mods to inject once or twice however I get the error almost non stop. I cant find any reason as to why it somehow works 1% of the play click. I thought it could be time based or after going through a few menu’s but havent found a work around yet.
Maybe try reinstalling MK1 or Wemod?
Game keeps crashing while doing Klassic towers.

Trainer causes game to crash on recent update.
Everytime i start mortal kombat 1 and wemod, i get the message: “There was a problem loading the mods. If you didn’t close the game, your game version might not be compatible or you may have to allow wemod through your firewall or anti-virus software.” very frustrating. it is almost impossible to get it to work. what is the problem? i have had this problem for days. and when it is activated with a lot of effort, the game crashes regularly and then i have to try again between 30 and 50 times to get it to work. anyone a solution for this???
I have been using wemod for years and it is a really great app. Thanks to this app I have achieved a lot in mortal kombat 11 and I thank you for everything but I play mortal kombat 1 on epic games but there is no mod for epic games in wemod please upload a mod for epicgames too please I need it very much.
Mods not working, I get error messages that my firewall is preventing it but my fire wall is off
Still like this, it works if we insist and should not be that way, we need to try several times until it finally gets into it, not working properly!
Did @GreenHouse abandon this mod or what? I just bought this game to use the mods of wemod but as you can see, it has been abandoned for a long time and it doesn’t seem that it is going to be fix anytime soon.
Hey @Biohazard560 This trainer was tested on the 11th and passed. If you’re still experiencing issues, please check out our Support Assistant bot in the app. You can also submit a complaint directly through the app if needed.
I try to use it on august 20 but didn’t manage to sucess, the other day the same thing, but yesterday I’ve come to put the post and read if someone has a solution and @Th3-Pr0digy said that if you keep trying it would work and in the end it did work but for some reason some mods were cosuming too much from my gpu or cpu because it was make too much noise but at least it worked.
the support assistant bot doesn’t offer to report that the TRAINER isn’t able to open that specific game. I’ve checked patch notes for dates, and MK1 hasn’t been updated since Aug 11 2025. I had just played with mods 3 days ago, and that same night the game crashed, and the mods no longer worked.
Other games work, so it’s not my antivirus or firewall. No new updates have been released for MK1. So, I can only assume the trainer might have an issue.

I’ve figured out how to keep the game from crashing. You need to disable all cheats right after you win a Kombat match (the final round). I’ve bound multiple cheats that I often use to the same key, and have been able to play for several hours on end with no crashing.
