So…To start Horizon will not connect to the internet. I have tried turning firewall off, my AV off and no good.
Second, Horizon does not pick up my USB drive. Yes I am running horizon in Admin mode.
Third. When I go to download the latest version of Horizon AVG pops up catching something. This hasn’t been fixed for a VERY long time.
You’ll need to go in to AVG settings and add an exception for Horizon, AVG is showing a false positive.
It’s well known that Horizon is caught as a false positive for some antivirus software including AVG. I’m not certain this is why, but I think it’s because of code obfuscation. That’s neither here nor there.
Labogani said it right, you need to add an exception for Horizon in AVG. Once you update Horizon, the rest of your problems should resolve themselves because they all sound like they are caused by having an outdated version of Horizon.
So…not a false positive. 
I clicked the link to get the “latest version” and ended up with chromium (which I am unable to uninstall), and a bunch of ads popped up. Next…I had AVG off just to see, Horizon worked…except it said there was nothing on my USB. Which I know there was since I went to my comp, my usb and it was there. So…I’m just going to give up. btw 360Revolution stopped picking up my USB as well. Modio does pick it up but the program doesn’t do what i want it to. so…I’m s.o.l.

The installer on the main page is bundled with 3rd party software that you are supposed to decline the offers to install them when installing Horizon. I forget why they do this and why it’s acceptable, but if you click the download link in my signature, it’s just Horizon and nothing else.
I suggest trying something like Malwarebytes or HitmanPro to remove the crapware you got from the original installer.
AVG will throw false positives on Horizon though. AVG does this with any obfuscated code. You need to disable AVG while installing, and then add an exception for Horizon after you’ve installed it.

I got it to work (awesome) but found out that the mod i wanted to use is really annoying, found another one that didn’t really do what i wanted, and gave up. thx for the help tho.
You just need to replace the gpd.
