When i try to open horizon it comes up this : 
does anybody know how to fix it - im on windows xp
Check to see if you have .NET Framework 3.5 installed, if you do, uninstall it.
Then try a fresh install after downloading from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25150

still not working.
Do you have any anti-virus? Have you tried reinstalling horizon? Have you tried running horizon as an administrator? Also, when do you get this error? During the installation or after?

i have avg and it occured after
also im running it as admin
Disable avg and uncheck the “protect my computer…” option in the pop-up you displayed (Horizon is safe)
