Seems that 90% of trainers are ALWAYS for Steam games and everytime I have a game from Gog and sometime Epic there are NEVER EVER any trainers. I WAS a long time pro user but since it seems you cater more to Steam than any other system I no longer see the need to pay to use something that only caters to one system more. You can’t convince me otherwise because I see games that JUST came out on Steam get trainers instantly and games that have been out for YEAR on Epic or Gog NEVER EVER get trainers kind of making it lopsided, therefore I canceled my sub but still like your trainers. Maybe one day you will learn to love all of them and not just steam only games.
it’s not about love as you put it. They make mods based on the number of people. There’s far more users on steam than on the other platforms. So they make mods based on that. It’s not personal.
True Flibby76.
I’ve even bought the free games I got on Epic in Steam instead of playing the free one. Because the only reason to like Epic is the free games every week, otherwise Steam is vastly more popular and “better”.
@vampiregoat69 Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. I totally understand your frustration and I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve felt overlooked as a long time Pro user. That’s definitely not the experience we want for anyone in our community.
The reason it might feel like we focus more on Steam is because new trainers are created based on game popularity among WeMod users and right now the majority of our users tend to play Steam games not necessarily because we favor it, but because that’s where the activity is. A lot of people use Epic for the free games or Xbox for Game Pass which become the main focus on those platform simply because that is what majority of our users use it for.
That said, if there’s a game you want to see supported hitting “Notify Me” on that game’s page helps a lot. It shows interest directly and boosts that game’s chances of getting a trainer made. We absolutely want to support more titles across all platforms it just has to follow where the community demand is.
Even though you’ve canceled, we really do appreciate your support over the years, and we’re grateful to hear you still enjoy the trainers. I hope we can earn back your trust in the future.
I have hit notify me on SEVERAL games and years later still nothing so I gave up
