As you may or may not know, there is a new loot cave in the Rocket Yards that does return some good loot. In one hour I have received 15 rares and 3 legendarys.
Anyways, it works better with multiple people, so if you would like to join post your GT. Level 24/5+ ONLY.

I haven’t tried this spot yet, but, regarding the other farm spot in that area, it doesn’t seem to be that great.
You’re still able to gain engrams, but it just doesn’t seem as if I get that many great engrams from doing so…could just be my luck.
I’ll continue to use these various spots to increase my Cryptarch rank, but I don’t plan on getting anything that worth wild out of them since I’m nearing Lvl. 30 and would only need to gain Raid gear.
…could still get some good Legendary weapons though so I guess it’s not all bad.
For the time I have used this spot, it has been very very good. The other one you are talking about, not so much.
