Nice One “Horizon MB” Owners, now for a while now i haven’t trusted the way things where turning with Horizons website & its download of the Horizon program, so that’s why i used the old Horizon Setups.exe as it was NON-VIRUS/Malware free, besides the fact it was on CNET which has alot of Spyware associated with it, but just skip and untick all the software that comes with it… any way turns out my method was outdated and now it wont give me the option to update anymore, so i thought i’ll have another look at the Horizonmb.com website as its been a little while and i hope things have turned around with it… But nope, because i been using Horizon for a very long time i have an idea of what it should be like, but i thought i’ll get my Virus/malware protection running on full per cation as i did not trust the download any more nor the website, so i went to “Download Horizon” on the top right to see how they will make users download it know… So it just took me strait to a blank page as you all would probably know, and it come up on the left with bold letters “Download starting”, so i thought something was a bit unusual than once the download started it came up with a warning “Download stopped this may be harmful to your computer” So i thought well it is a modding program, so i clicked to proceed download, so i got my virus/malware protectors ready, so anyway the download extension is a .JSE which was VERY Unusual compare to past downloads with Horizon, so i did some research and like i suspected its a Scripting/script file, which can be dangerous if coded with Trojan/Viruses/Malware etc… any way i tried to simply convert it into an .exe extension to see if it may run (out of curiosity) and it didn’t just opened CMD as i expected it too do any way, so i thought ok ill run it on it’s normal file extension, on high caution, and as i just clicked on it before it could even render most of the files, it came up with Viruses/ Malware! So there you go Horizonmb just ****ed in all our faces and betrayed all there customers now. There most likely going to bring these post down but I’m going to save this and spread the word! so should you for the better… save this page as HTML so when they remove it, it will save on your local storage.
We are not distributing malware as you state we are. Horizon currently has over 100k downloads monthly and very few complaints about malware. If you would like a download to Horizon with no extra install options I would be glad to provide one.
Every member here knows (Should Know) that Horizon comes with false positive malware. Which means your PC says that it is harmful, but it really isn’t at all. Before going on this little “rant” I highly suggest you do some research. The developers of Horizon even told us about that. Here a Horizon file without a .JSE extension, enjoy.
