Sounds like the file you tried to attach to WeMod was not the game’s .exe.
For example, if you tried to attach the desktop shortcut to WeMod, this is incorrect. Desktop shortcuts are not game executable (.exe) files, they are launchers.

  • For Nightingale on Epic, find the game directory, which by default is:
    C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Nightingale
  • In this folder is a file called NWX.exe with the icon of a yellow “N”.
    This is the .exe file you need to add to the Steam version of the trainer, if you do not wish to wait for an Epic one to be released.
    • Not to be confused with the similarly-named folder called “NWX” in the same directory.
