[/img]Microsoft has no plans to release Forza Horizon 2 DLC on Xbox 360.
Both versions of the game recently launched with over 200 cars, but this week’s Mobil 1 Car Pack introduced six new vehicles to the Xbox One edition.
Forza community manager Brian Ekberg wrote on the game’s official forums: "This is the first monthly DLC pack for the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2 and we’re excited to bring you more cars on a monthly basis.
"We are currently planning to release DLC only for the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2. Also, Forza Rewards benefits are only available in the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2.
“This means that Xbox 360 players will not receive Forza Rewards credits or cars. In addition, progress in the 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 does not count towards your Forza Rewards Tier Level score. Only progress in the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2 will count towards your overall Forza Score (and Tier Level) in Forza Rewards.”
The open-world racing sequel was built on the Forza 5 engine by Playground Games for Xbox One, and separately on the Forza Horizon engine by Sumo Digital for Xbox 360.
everyone’s allowed to express their own opinion on things, but can i ask why you thought it was terrible? i find it WAY better than the original Horizon
I am pretty sure anyone who played the game on Xbox 360 could agree with me that the game is absolutely terrible. First off the graphics are horrendous, I guess that is what happens when you have two companies doing the graphics for one entire game. Second they throw in 200 cars to actually make you feel like they actually spent time on the game, to me it seems rushed and just a copy of Forza Horizon with some new cars and the map is designed differently (#CallOfDutyMove.) Third and final there is no weather changes, sorry but if you don’t really care about the realistic weather patterns of a game this probably won’t bother you, but I would love to see the rain come back from Forza Horizon, but I guess that won’t be happening. Seems as if the only good thing about this game is the soundtrack of it, everything else is just terrible.
Gonna have to disagree. The graphics are actually tremendous for 360… maybe not for the X1 but that’s because they are two totally different platforms.
I honestly don’t even care about the “campaign” I guess you could call it. I just mod my credits with Horizon and free roam with all sorts of different cars. I just play it for the realism and what not.
Personally, I absolutely love the game, I love both of the Horizons, but that’s just me.
It just seems to me that Forza Horizon had so much better graphics, but maybe that is the game developers slacking on the old gens and going all out on the new gens…
