(Although for the most part the Steam ones seemed to work OK as well).

Managed to find a workaround to get WeMod to work with GOG’s No Man’s Sky VR mode. I bought the game years ago on GOG, but having gotten a VR headset since, it was annoying there was no way to launch VR via WeMod for the GOG version since there’s no launch flag support for GOG games.

Workaround requires the software “Advanced BAT to EXE Converter”. The free version works fine.

  1. Launch ABTEC and in the big blank space paste the following:

start .\NMS.exe -HmdEnable 1
  1. Click on the “Build EXE” button on the toolbar(Second from the left)
  2. In the pop-up window, select “Start Invisible” and then select “Build EXE”
  3. Save the EXE to the “Binaries” folder inside your NMS install directory(Same folder as NMS.exe), name it something like “NMS-VR.exe”
  4. ABTEC should then process the Batch script into the EXE

Now you can add the EXE into WeMod under the NMS GOG trainer section. Now all you have to do is launch Steam VR, and then go to WeMod, open the dropdown next to “Play” and select your custom EXE path. The game should launch in SteamVR and the WeMod trainer should work.

Some of the GoG cheats have broken since latest patch.
Item stacks and Unlimited Items… unsure about some of the others. :thinking:

I think it might need an update again cus it causes crashes after latest update all option work but they cause crashes it seems.
