Not launching after install

I install Horizon with the launcher, the download completes, but the app does not open. There is no “horizon.exe” located in my files. It might be due to Norton disabling the network connection. I try to enable it, keeps disabling it. Help?

I enabled .net 3.5, Norton stopped disabling the network, but nothing has happened.

Aggressive antivirus programs, such as Norton, are a royal pain in the backside and enjoy blocking legitimate, safe software. Please try this:

  1. Use the Add Or Remove Tools feature, which comes with all Windows PCs, to completely remove Horizon from your PC.

  3. Download Horizon: https://www.wemod.com/horizon

  4. Add Horizon to the exceptions/whitelist before you launch it. Norton support article: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v3672136.

The reason you need to remove Horizon from your PC is because simply whitelisting it after the antivirus has interfered with it will not restore any critical files that it might have deleted.
