Offline Usage

In the past few weeks I have been able use the trainers on Infinity up to a few days after connecting through internet; however, it would be very nice to be able to download a trainer with the program to use indefinitely. Maybe an option to download a particular trainer for a particular game, and instead of starting the game, maybe an option to instead just save the trainer for usage later. I am not able to connect through internet very often, so this functionality would be awesome. Despite not being connected to internet, the program retains all of the menus and game lists, with the exception of being able to load mods. Which is where this desired functionality would be of use. This is the only thing that I am left wanting after using the program, and aside from this, it is a great tool. Thanks.

Edit: After the few days of not connecting to the internet, the trainers that I had been using would eventually fail to load and I have been unable to use them again until I loaded them back with an internet connection.

This makes sense but they would need a way to mark the trainer with the account that downloaded it because with the files you could re-unlock upload elsewhere and take credit or put behind an adfly or something to make money off their work

This makes me a little leery. I’m brand-new to this community, and am completely blown away by Infinity’s potential. That being said, I also go long stretches with no internet. Am I to understand that without an active net connection, Infinity goes stale? Furthermore, it this obsolescence server or client side? If it’s serverside, can Infinity be kept current via smartphone?

It’s in my understanding that you need to have an active internet connection the first time you use a trainer. Other than that the program should be pretty client side.

The smarphone “app”/the remote requires a internet connection though.

Appreciate the reply, but I don’t think it answers the question. According to WoozyJacuzzi (the threadstarter), it seems to appear that the software does in fact go stale, and I quote:
“After the few days of not connecting to the internet, the trainers that I had been using would eventually fail to load and I have been unable to use them again until I loaded them back with an internet connection.”

A headsup by the devteam would be greatly appreciated on this issue.

I did not see the above replies . I thought this was a new thread. @Frank should have the answer to your question.

The trainers should work offline indefinitely once they are downloaded. What happens when it “goes stale”?

For myself, personally, I have observed the trainers failing to load 100% of the time 3-4 days after going offline. Not sure if it is because of some sort of authentication issue or what, if they are supposed to work indefinitely. After the trainers fail to load, I have to essentially reconnect to the Internet and download them all over again.

Does it fail when you click on the trainer or when you click the Start button? If the latter, how long does it take for the message to pop up?

It fails when clicking the trainer, I don’t get the option to start the trainer because the trainer won’t load in the first place.

Seems I’ve managed to answer the question. A few days ago my net went away. Just today I booted up Infinity, and sure enough, more then half the trainers I jad downloaded and were working were now not working. The precise error message is “we ran into a problem loading this tool”, with a “try again” button beneath it. Teying again seems to have no effect.

I suppose the question at this point is, is there an offline mode or some workaround for this?
