The game Iām running was purchased legitimately through steam and is fully up to date. I am still receiving the Unity crash that Surfs501 is experiencing in single player as soon as a contract is selected and initiated. When you first run the game you are still given the notice that you need additional setup, previously this was the bypass.
So when I was using this after the update, if the ghost was hunting, it would still walk to the location it had planned to go, but it would just stop moving once it got there. It could also start hunting if the cheat was turned on but wouldnāt move from itās location. I didnāt cheat prior to the update, so Iām not sure how it worked before.
I noticed if anyone is having issues with the cheats crashing their game, try disabling all cheats before starting a new contract/level. I know this isnāt optimal but noticed it worked for me doing it this way. You can try to have on specific cheats when the level starts but Iād imagine itās specific ones like Reveal Ghost Type, Favorite Room and/or Ghost Location.
Can we please have following cheats re-add
Force Ghost Hunt cheat
End Current Hunt cheat
Does it still need the bypass?

XP multiplier no longer working. followed instructions, did a fresh start to see if that would solve the problem, no idea as of right now
Just coming back to the game after a long hiatus. Before then, I was shown that this still works. During the hiatus, the recent major update came out. I want to ask about its usability since the update has been out. If anyone uses this, please let me know how to best use this, if it is even operational

Iām sorry if this has been asked before, but as of 7/10/25, do we need the bypass to use the mods? If so, then it isnāt working for me. It was just working not long ago until my power kicked off. Now Iām having a repeat issue of if the bypass is open then my game doesnāt load. But if I donāt have bypass open. It works fine. ā If we donāt need it anymore, do I launch the game first and then open wemod or do I just start the game straight from wemod?
Same for me, which is why I came here.
There was a very specific sequence that it would work every time.
But now with the bypass, the game will not even load.
The sequence was, start up the game. Close it. Turn on the bypass, leave that open, start the game again.
Then when in singleplayer, go and start the wemod, and then it would work fine.
But actually since two updates to Phas ago, with the bypass open, the game will not start.
Once I close the bypass and start the game, it will start fine.
I did everything including uninstalling and reinstalling Phas twice.
The bypass was removed a few updates ago, as itās no longer needed.
That would explain the issues then! Thank you!
Are we able to load the game right from WMod or should we load it on steam first then open wemod? Sorry if that sounds like a silly question I just want to have all my facts straight before diving back in and messing something up.

Just a suggestion if it is possible, how about a way to influence the next ghost type? Would make testing ghosts behavior easier. Spent like an hour rolling though maps as fast as possible load-quit to get a specific ghost.
