Post your computer specs!

You still don’t need 850w even for OC

I had my 2500k pushing 5.2Ghz under water with no issues and I’ve benched with my AX750 under LN2 a couple times now.

Well I’m buying it off a friend for a good price so that’s why also.

CPU: Intel Core i7 930 @ 4.0GHz
Graphics card: Radeon HD 5770 x2
Memory/Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB
Motherboard: GIGABYTE G1.Assassin LGA 1366
OS: Windows 7
HDD: 932GB Western Digital

Had this setup for awhile, hasn’t failed me yet.

CPU: Intel Core, Sandy Bridge, i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.7GHz (Not overclocked)
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Memory/Ram: 8192MB RAM
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68AP-D3
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
HDD: 953.8 GB ST1000DM005 HD103SJ ATA Device
SSD: 57.2 GB OCZ-AGILITY3 ATA Device (Used to store OS)

Whoever told you that the i7-2600k has 8 CPUs is high.

Do you mean, who told me it has 8 cpu’s, or do you mean, who told me it was good?

If you mean the first one, then the DxDiag told me that.

I meant the first one, and that’s odd. Maybe because the i7 is hyperthreaded? That’s the only reason I can think of, considering hyperthreading does 2 threads per core, which is basically the same thing as 8 cores.

Holy crap how old is that?

New Windows assessment after some OC tweeks. I got my CPU from 4 GHz to 4.7 and my ram from 800 MHz to 855 MHz. and I have a cacheing program that allows for a 3 GB of cache per HDD so it improve the disk assessment by a bit.
