Redstone Regulator Console Item Idea?

Name: Redstone Regulator

1st: no this wouldnt change existing redstone without it.
2nd: this would be a gui based item.
3rd: we really dont have exclusives or blocks on 360, we are severely limited and no one apparently cares. So this would help a lot of redstone people as we dont have pc mods, we dont want to buy a pc, and etc. So dont even suggest them or say anything pc comment, its for 360, possibly one ONLY!!!
4Th: It would be for 360/One only as we wont see command blocks or elytra in any years to come.
5Th: how does this fit minecraft per say realisticly?
Basically there is a voltage regulator in real life circuits that regulate voltage(power) in areas, i know im not exactly right there but for the idea at least would be right along redstone which is a rudimentary of electricity ir powdered electricity from my view.
6Th: 360/One cant handle this? Actually, it can, doesnt lag though granted i tested it using repeaters making one tick delays up to 100 blocks, but it actually could or those redstone computers wouldnt work very well. Redstone only lags when everything is active, always on. I make pop-off doors to prove this. Make all your redstone remain off even when closed, pistons retracted, etc. It’ll save a lot of stress on your system plus it looks nice. -
7th: The whole thing is iron and stone. So the torch would only be moving when on as its wood and Redstone dust when its on.

Now, that is out of the way, lets get with it.

Design: looks like redstone comparator except when placed, it has a circle that starts turning when on- i’e regulating the redstone.

Redstone Regulator Off

Redstone Regulator On - Torch lit & moving with blue arrows constantly till off

Output is in front of torch & on both sides. Input for power is behind the torch, similar to comparator

Mechanism:
Gui 1: asks if you want power to be instant wherever the output of redstone goes or delayed by 1 to 100 ticks.
Gui 2: delay setting for above via scroll bar
Gui 3: Unlike repeaters and comparators, this gui would let you set the output of the redstone signal to travel from just 1 to 100 blocks away. It is defaulted to 0 or does nothing till you activate the gui. A scroll bar saying 0 to 100 signal strength.

Ex:
Lever down. Regulator in front. Redstone dust out the other end up to 1 to 100 blocks away. You open the gui, set it to 100 power and instant on. You flip the lever and piston a 100 blocks away is on just like a 0-tick but remains on.
Now repeat above but change settings, put 100 delay on 1 signal strength.
Now when lever is pushed, it will take a 100 seconds to power the piston one block away. You add any dust after that one signal you wont have power.

Crafting

This may need tweaking, but i’ll let you decide.

This would bring redstone on 360|One up to par or advance it pass the pc and for once, just once make a lot of people happy.

If you are a pc moddder and want to make this as a mod, go ahead just please give me credit for idea and link it. Thank you.
Lastly, if you didn’t understand any of this, I apologize.

What do you guys think for this, would it be a nice addition to xbox console?

If the thing moves, wouldn’t the sides move too?

Not the whole thing. Iron is heavy and redstone is light if it is dust. So when you power the the device, the torch will light up and its the only thing that will move in the circle. That is what I meant. Lol.

Anyway. Do you think this would improve Redstone anyway?

Seems a little too complicated for Minecraft. Doesn’t Redstone power have a limited range?

Yeah it might be too complicated for them.

@Sykotik

The purpose would be a better repeater. As a repeater does extend power, but delays it by 1-tick or second. This would allow you to use 1 regulator instead of numerous repeaters to extend the reds tone signal however far you want up to 100 blocks. It would also allow you to control timing. Let’s say a Redstone circuit needs a piston activated 3 blocks away instantly before the repeater activates it, this would allow you to do that.

In a nutshell, repeaters repeat redstone signal but delay it by 1 tick

A regulator could power all redstone up to 100 blocks and if you used a repeater, the signal wouldn’t be delayed or delayed by the amount in the regulator GUI.

This would act like a redstone zero-tick machine or an instant limited comparator just by changing the settings. If still confused, I apologize. I can’t really explain it any better.

I could make better combo locks with this as well and they would be instant open after all were off if this helps. Think of an item frame but use a regulator, you now have up to 100 Redstone signal strength to work with.

So, u could have 2, 10, 21, 3 as a lock just by using 4 regulators

Or 56, 21, 35, 22, and 33 could be a combo lock.

Sounds like a lot of work. Would be easier and better just to add command blocks.

Xbox one yes. 360 no. I mod it and freeze s with any potion effects after level 4, it’s AI tags are corrupted, it’s just an overall mess. Plus they won’t as people will try to reopen the void and build in it freezing the console apparently. Yeah 4j would never implement this nor care, quite frankly they just want money.
