Hey @notsogluhd - I’m in full screen mode and seem to have some mixed results. Starting the game from Wand always results in a crash. I did manage to get it to work yesterday though, but how - I can’t remember.
Also, turned the overlay off/on and switched to windowed mode and today it’s crashing again. I can’t recall what I did to get it to work, but it’s crashing again.
Hi @Leemillion_xM! Apologies for the late response. If the issue is still happening, please try running the game on lower or balanced graphics settings and disable any overlays. Adjust the in game settings first before launching the trainer. Then restart the game and inject the trainer while the game is running in windowed mode.
In many cases, this helps resolve crash related issues.
If it still continues after these steps, we may not be able to investigate further from our side. The last time we checked, everything was working as intended, so it’s likely something specific to your setup or system configuration.
I am having the same crashing issue. It will not get past loading a game save for some reason no matter what save i try to load. I am on the lowest graphics possible, adjusted the config file in settings to dx11 instead of dx12, im on windowed mode, i have done every trouble shooting step i can find online and through your support and the game is still crashing but worked just fine several months ago. I think the trainer needs to be updated as there is a disconnect between the updated game version and the trainer itself last being updated in 2024.
Can we get a god mode/ignore hits mod for this game Plz. I Know there’s unlimited health but in some parts of the game you can still die because the damage you get hit with is too high for the unlimited health to keep up with.
Yeah this needs updating, it crashes no matter what, i have tried full screen, windowed, full windowed, lower graphics, no hdr, literally everything and it crashes constantly, i don’t have the overlay on, i have also tried activating the mods through my phone, crashes every time.
Hey, sorry to hear that! Since you’ve already disabled the overlay, could you try a clean reinstall of the Wand app and verify your game files through the Xbox app? If the issue still persists, please reach out at support@wand.com with a screen recording of what’s happening on your end so our team can investigate further! Thank you for being patient!
Oh sorry I forgot to update the above post that I eventually got it to work (kind of), I basically put the game file into the steam option would click play and it would work but only 1 mod would work (obviously as it’s not the steam version I’m using), then I’d remove that and go back to the windows option and it would seem to work about 50% of the time but I managed to get through it with it being a short game, resident evil 2 however just crashes instantly regardless of what I do unfortunately, thanks for getting back to me though.
No worries and thanks for the update, @Sleaze1! Glad you found a workaround for RE3 even if it was a bit finicky. On RE2 crashing, I know you’ve already tried a lot of troubleshooting so could you please reach out at support@wand.com with a screen recording and the team will take a closer look! Thanks again and for your patience!
