Resident Evil 4 Cheats and Trainer for Steam

Was talking to Moddershaven mostly on the whole raytracing thing, but either way I’m not sure what is causing your issue specifically if your even crashing without mods.

Do you know if using cheat unlocks the challenges and achievements?

Hello, I have been using the trainer for the resident evil four remakes; it works for a few minutes, then crashes for something about D3D code or something. I was wondering if have to be the file I enter into the game directory or something.

I dont know why so many people are having troubles with the Mods and it crashing the game.
All I did was, unzip the file that you have to download from the link, wherever you want in your folders, then all you have to do is click and drag the file “dinput8.dll” into the game folder (In which you just have to go to your Steam library, Hover over RE4, Right click on it, go to manage and then browse local file, drop the file here). Then all I did after that was start the game and activate the RE4 mods once i was in the Main Menu and have been fine ever since. With no crashes for the straight 2 hours I have played or any of the mods they have available.

Amazing work FLiNG. Keep up the good work!

P.S: Any questions I can try and help when available. My Discord is Wolfy4NK8#0022

I posted a Step by Step on how I did it with no issues. Just have to drag the file “dinput8.dll” in the local game folder for RE4 and you should be good, otherwise verify the integrity of the files for your game.

I was earning achievements and towards all challenges, so yeah you should be good to go

unable to download it its being blocked by windows as high risk threat

You need to temporarily disable your antivirus, extract the .dll file, add it to your antivirus’ exception list, then re-enable your antivirus.

Beat the game twice and for whatever reason even with the reset merchant and recovery item count cheat on, I don’t get the Challenge as complete

Add Stop Bitores Mendez Boss from moving cheat.

As a suggestion I would recommend adding a mod to reset the time played.

It would be great to be able to play calmly without the need to go fast to get the S+ Rank and in the end simply activate this mod.

I’ve used plenty of We Mod trainers before including ones that need a bypass but I’ve never had this D3D crash before. Tried this suggestion of turning off Ray Tracing while I was getting constant crashes in Chapter 5 at the same spot and it immediately stopped, played through Chapter 5, 6 and 7 now without a single crash since I disable RT.

Not sure if it’s a permanent fix or not, but turning off RT worked for me.

Sorry it’s not working for you Meyer, but it “seems” to have resolved it for me, at least for the moment.

I played all afternoon and had no problems.

It seems to be a combo of the games issues with VRAM usage and RE Framework overlay issues when writing to memory, the Temporal Upscaling (beta) dll found over on Nexus Mods results in much less crashes for me when using Wemod. Sample size of 1 though so grain of salt and all that…
Other fixes include turning off Shadow Cache, lowering in game textures to 4gb, turning off both Raytrcing and SSR as they are both broken as well, and lowering shadows to mid.

The LOD of texture streaming is broken and on higher settings loads only high res textures with lower settings seemingly set to per object LOD but only loading some high res at arbitrary times. VRAM isn’t being cleared instead of switching textures in and out they just load till VRAM is exceeded, normally this would cause hitching in game as textures struggle to be loaded in but in RE4’s case it crashes. This happens across all resolutions. Writing to memory with cheat engine also causes the crash to happen more often once VRAM is choked, the correlation seems to be consistently observable when I tried it.

Hopefully Capcom releases some hotfixes in the near future and clears it up. Fingers crossed.

Request: Add infinite small keys please

using the trainer since it came out and no problem, for ashley the best option is to unlock the store, buy the armor and everything is perfect. I’m going for the 5th game, only using a damage multiplier of 10, a defense multiplier of 20 and it is possible to spend the entire game with the pistol in this way on any difficulty. for Ranking S+ I just played normal the first time to know the path and items, the 2nd game I went straight without detours, it’s easy to finish it in less than 5 hours

So one thing that I noticed was that the D3D error seems to always trigger when Unlimited Ammo is turned on, at least for me. If I use the Unlimited Items options, I get no errors or crashes whatsoever, and I still the same effect as Unlimited Ammo. I still haven’t tried any of the other options yet to see if anything else triggers the error or a crash.

So I’m wondering what exactly “Freeze Play Time” is meant to do.
I tried it and my time read as “999:59:59”, I was between 9 ~ 10 hours in that playthrough before activating.

for the “freeze play time” the best way to do it is freeze the timer until right before the end of the chapter, unfreeze the timer and finish the chapter and go into the next one wait a few seconds and then freeze the timer again and repeat this process until the end. Make sure to unfreeze the timer on the last chapter as well before you finish said chapter for end of game.

That’s at least worked with not getting the whole “999:59:59” timer for me with just testing various things out.

Followed instructions, raytracing off, enable any options and as soon as I attack an enemy, the game crashes every time. Any advice?
