I cant get it to work. Downloaded the file. Went to Steam in my program files. Cant find manage or browse local files. No clue where to put it now and it wont work. This sucks. Oh well… guess im going old school. Would have been fun to have infinite Requiem lol

How can I use it in the Japanese version?

I played two days ago and everything was fine but today game is crashing from the start. Game, framework and drivers are updated to lastest version and still crashing. Even if I launching game first.

“Just a heads up the trainer won’t work with the Japanese release of Resident Evil. That version differs from other regions (due to censorship), so the trainer doesn’t match the game build.”
Hello Fling, i wonder, can you add some “walk through walls” and “anything as a key” and “inventory/item editor” options in your incredible trainer (similar to the “raz0r ultimate trainers“ in re2 to re7 he made) ? I love these options (especially the one to pass through wall to mess with mobs and watching them struggling to catch me, lol).
Edit : careful with the “anything as a key” options, because for things like the door with 3 locks if using anything as a key will hardlock the game.

Question about the ‘Complete All Challenges’ option.
I enabled it, and later found that for getting the achievement I need to collect 5,000 blood samples. I’m unable to track my progress. I’m assuming I can still collect the achievement but is there any way to disable so I can view my progress on the challenge?
Also, maybe in conjunction with ‘No Crafting Requirements’ you could put in an ‘Unlimited Items’ option. No Crafting Requirements doesn’t lower your blood so it doesn’t help with clearing that challenge.
If there’s something else to help with this, I’d appreciate it.

I would try something like a mod uninstall to get rid of any installed mods, then you can try again, without selecting complete all challenges. I understand, as I did the same thing!
A good mod uninstaller is Fluffy Mod Manager, found on the Nexus mods website. Just select the game, and uninstall the mods from there. Hopefully that will work.

We’ve heard that Japan has a completely different version of the game. Could you provide us with your build ID number? You can find it under the Steam game’s Properties tab.

io gioco dalla prima versione di trucchi , quella con solo 6 e li tutto ok perfettamente funzionante, ma da quando sono uscite le seconde versioni ( 18 e 29 codici) non posso giocarlo piu perche appena si carica il gioco mi crasha via , se voglio giocare devo per forza caricare la prima versione mi sapete dare qualche dritta?
the play time +/- is bugged for me. trying to get the speed demon achievement and it’s stuck at 99:59:59 and i’ve tried increasing and decreasing the time and it won’t reset/change.

The build ID for my copy of Resident Evil Requiem is 21960597.
The purchase date was March 3, 2026, at 1:00 AM.
I bought the Deluxe Edition, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Unnecessary. You have strict censorship there. The Japanese version is just a piece of s/h/i/t.
Did you upload the required DLL into the game folder?
Download RE9.zip from GitHub.
You only need to upload the dinput8.dll; you can delete the rest; it’s not needed. (See instructions.)
Then I recommend launching the game normally from Steam (a small window will appear in the top left corner of the screen, which you can safely close) and, if you have the wemod/wand app on your phone, wait for the game to load.
Then click “Play” in the app.
From there, you can also choose which mods to load.

Just be careful with the infinite ammo mod…
It’s happened to me more than once that it loses the setting you’ve chosen, especially when switching characters in the game (from Grace to Leon and vice versa). Just reselect it.
Unfortunately, I noticed it when I’d already emptied my magazine!..lol…
