Most of your issues are most likely player movement speed breaking cutscenes/scripted game moments. The game wasn’t designed to have characters move faster than it expects, so of course it’s going to mess up character movement when you move faster than the scene planned for. That explains exactly why you overshoot, break boundaries, or get slingshot out of bounds and then fall to your death.

The game. sorry, I should have been more clear.
I did verify integrity, still didn’t work. Wand couldn’t recognize it.
I uninstalled and deleted the folder from steamapps, then re downloaded and installed Re9 and it worked

Nah. I’ve tried without the movement speed controls. Even deactivated the mod before an event happens. It still does over shoot and extends.

Could you fix the mod, when you use it lattency and fps goes to hell but when u remove the file dinput8.dll everything works fine, can’t use x4 because feels like laggy except when I remove the file. Hope you can read this. Im playing using RTX 5070 ti and R7 7800x3d 32GB RAM DDR5 6000mts.

I went to play the game today and for some reason the game just closes before getting to the main menu, it shows the intro credit screens but just before it goes to load the menu it just closes.

That’s because the developers of the mod haven’t gone back and fixed it after the game on Steam updated. I’ve even tried going back deleting everything and reuploading everything and then re putting in the dinput file, Still nothing works and the game still crashes before hitting the main menu. Even one only having simple mods turned on, on wand the game still crashes even if I only have the mod of unlimited health turned on. I hope the developers of this mod end up fixing it so that it’s actually usable it’s been going on like this for way over a week. It’s the same thing with the Resident Evil 4 remake the mods on wand are now working, for over a year the mods didn’t work. Hopefully it doesn’t take that long or even longer for the mods for Requiem to work. the 2-27-26 mods Are the only mods that I have been able to even remotely get to work. There are only six mods on that but it’s better than nothing.
As someone who’s a paying member it would at least be nice to have The latest mod versions to be available and have access to everything being a Ping member of the Pro version of Wand. They have all this advertisement on YouTube that they are having these mods working like great and that it’s so great, but it doesn’t even work 90% of the time. Don’t get me wrong the mods work one 100 percent of the time for older games but it seems like for all the newer games even as a pro paying member, they don’t work half the time until like months later. I just hope that the developers of the mod actually fix the mods so that they are usable in the game because I’ve already gotten the Platinum trophy on it and I’ve already done everything to possibly do in the game, and I played normally over 15 Times Now. It would be nice to use mods to add something new in the game.

Quick update regarding REFramework crashes with Wand
We’re aware that some players are experiencing crashes when using REFramework with Wand including crashes on the main menu or shortly after launch, even with minimal mods enabled.
There are reports suggesting that certain GPU drivers, CPUs and hardware configurations may be contributing to conflicts with the game and the framework. We’re still looking into the specifics.
That said, a new REFramework build was just pushed about 20 minutes ago. If you’ve been running into issues, it’s worth grabbing the latest version and seeing if it makes a difference for your setup
As always, make sure you have downloaded the latest version and you’re only extracting dinput8.dll into your game folder no other files from the zip.
We appreciate your patience while these issues get sorted out.

well, I can confirm that at least for now with the new mods on Wand or the new update for the DIN put the mods work. The new latest file from a couple hours ago if you extract only the dinput8.dll file, That new file works with the mods for now.

I went to Settings>Downloads and cleared my Steam cache and that stopped the crashing for me.

After the latest game update, the game crashes on launch because REF Nightly 01294 is no longer compatible. The game was updated again a few hours ago. Once praydog developer updates REF, @FLiNG may want to update the trainer as well.
Time to be patient.
