Player Speed Doesn’t work with or without the DLL File. is there an issue hat could be fixed?

Hi, please try to disable the V-sync option in the game and see if it helps.

Unfornately, it doesn’t work on AMD Adrenalin 24.12.1 and the issue is 100% a problem with REFramework. Click on Play in WeMod and after it gets past the splash screens the display goes black and crashes to desktop with a “driver timeout” issue. Then tried lauching the game first and it still crashes, I’ve never had an issue with WeMod before this game. Aggravatingly enough, every time it crashes Adrenalin resets all tuning to default settings including the fan speed. Get rid of dinput8.dll and everything works normally so the issue is with REFramework undoubtedly.

So I’m not having any crashes so far in the game, but the REFramework will not leave my screen. It is just constantly covering a portion of the screen the entire time you play.

I don’t know what mod it is but something keeps making the mercenaries freeze and I have to use task manager to get out of it

There is no RE8 on REFramework. Do we still need to do the setup? dinput8.dll? The github link has up to RE7 but that’s it

RE8 is still on there. Make sure you expand the list if you don’t see it.

How do you get rid of the REFramework window?
After placing dinput8 in the directory an REFramework window comes up over the game and doesn’t go away and there seems to be no way to close it.
*** Fixed / Workaround.
I replaced the dinput8.dll retrieved manually from GitHub with the linked one from OP’s Post.

*** Set the game to launch in windowed mode instead of Fullscreen. Now you can actually click and close the REFramework window. set back to fullscreen and rock on!!!

“Insert” is the default key to open/close the REFramework.

I think some of the main cheats are working aside from the infinite ammo cheat..
hey mod author the recoi and player set speed doesn’t work in third person. please fix this
