RGH Won't Turn On At All!

Hi, my name is Cade and I’ve been having an issue with my Xbox 360 Slim recently. I am not sure what details you need about my RGH, but I’ll just put what I can remember. I have an RGH 2.0 Slim 360 Corona. I was trying to change stealth servers so what I did I went to dash launch, removed ALL the plugins (for a fresh start). Saved and loaded the new launch.ini file in dash launch, and turned off my Xbox. I press the power button on my RGH, makes the beep sound, and in about one second, the light turns right back off. The fans inside of the Xbox does not even power on… I’ve done tried removing the hard drive, a fresh launch.ini file through a USB, booting it up by the disc tray button, a link controller power on, and I just can not seem to find a solution to this issue. Do you think one of you guys could look into this problem and help me come to a conclusion?? I thank you guys for reading this message and pray you could give me some clarity. :smile:

If removing the HDD doesn’t help and launching via USB, then my guess would be that something internally has damaged. That may not of necessarily been caused by using DashLaunch, it could of just been bad-timing and the console was due to break.

Yes, I did take out the hard drive and tried just about everything…I was having a feeling it was a problem with my power supply do to the fact when I usually played a while back, every time I turn it on it makes a loud rumming sound that only stops unless I smack it… So I guess it just decided to short out or something.:grin: So I assume I just need to test it out on someone else’s power supply. I just really hope that is the issue. If that is the issue I could just buy another power supply simply for $13.25.

What color is the light on the power brick when you turn it on? You should also try booting into xell by turning on your xbox using the eject button. If xell starts and you previously had something like XBLSE setup you may need to completely uninstall dashlaunch then reinstall it.
