[/img]At the moment the Xbox One is sold in 500 mb SKUs (besides one bundle), but spanish retailer Lamee Software put a stand alone version of the console without kinect up for pre-orders, sporting a one terabyte hard disk.
As you can see in the screen capture below, the European retail price would be 449.99 Euros, and the launch date June 23rd.
If the listing is accurate, this could indicate an announcement at E3, but of course we should take this with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made.
Why are we getting all this “rumor” news? Can’t we just have solid facts please?
I skeptical on buying a third party HDD. Would’ve been nice to have a removable one to begin with.
Just another way for them to make more money, It’s a smart business move on their part. I just feel bad for the people that are gonna be naive and purchase this variant instead of just buying an external HDD. GG microsoft.
I have a 1 TB console… thanks.
The screen capture being referred to in the article:
…I realize only giving Xbox consumers a limited amount of storage space would intern create more business for Microsoft, but couldn’t you at least throw us consumers a bone for allowing you to say you had the better console when it came to the Xbox 360 vs Playstation 3 war? Again, I see the points from both parties and can’t argue them, I just see the standard Xbox One hard drive similar to if Apple offered only a 2GB iPod Touch.
Seriously buy one, if you have a lot of games.
