Rust is an indie 2013 survival video game created by Facepunch Studios, the creators of Garry’s Mod. The game’s inspiration comes from games such as DayZ, Minecraft, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
I know this is mainly a Xbox website however I know that many people here also play rust through steam.
I found this glitch through my rust glitching knowledge. I am not sure if this was found before I did.
This glitch has two different methods.
I am not responsible for any consequence.
Method One
You will need to download the mod files which can be download by click this text. You may need to register at the download site to gain access to the download.
Once you have the mod files installed, go ahead and install the Injector which will allow the mods to be played with, you can download the Injector by clicking this text. You may need to register at the download site to gain access to the download.
Once these have both downloaded unzip/extract them and then proceed to the steps below.
- Put “Dizzy” into Titanium’s folder called ‘mods’
- Run Titanium
- Click “Select Mods” and highlight ‘Dizzy’ than click save
- Run Rust through Steam (Running the game via the rust.exe will cause the game to crash)
- At the main menu click ‘Inject Hack’
Once you have completed them instructions join a server of your choice, get a sleeping bag and stand next to the base you want to glitch into. Press F2 and the mod menu will appear, right click walls and then right click the OFF button just above that. You will then see the walls disappear however you can walk right through it as the walls a server sided. Get as close as you can to the base without glitching back and you are able to place your sleeping bag. Once your sleeping bag is placed press F1 and type ‘suicide’ you will then spawn on top of your sleeping bag inside of the building you can the do whatever you want from there on. Remember there is no way of getting back out of the base unless their is a floor below you.
- Press F2 and check pillars, walls, doorways, doors and then check the OFF button so it is no ON.
- Quickly press Esc and disconnect without taking the mod menu down.
- Uncheck pillars, walls, doorways, doors in the rust menu, do not uncheck the ON button.
- Rejoin the server and you should be on the floor below and maybe there is a escape route there. (There was for me
)
Method Two
This method is much more time consuming!
This method requires notepad++ which can be downloaded by clicking this text.
- Open Rust and join a server, then find the building you want to glitch into and push up right against the wall. Make sure you have a sleeping bag in your inventory. Then close Rust
- With Notepad++ locate the Steam folder go to Steamapps/Common/Rust/Bundles and find a file called ngcconfiguartion.000.unity3d and open it.
- Press Ctrl+F and search for ‘WoodWall’ and change the last letter to 1 so it should be ‘WoodWal1’
- Save it and open Rust through Steam and join the same server. The wall to the base should be gone.
Get as close as you can to the base without glitching back and you are able to place your sleeping bag. Once your sleeping bag is placed press F1 and type ‘suicide’ you will then spawn on top of your sleeping bag inside of the building you can the do whatever you want from there on. Remember there is no way of getting back out. Once you have finished what you are doing go ahead and change the ‘WoodWal1’ back to ‘WoodWall’ and save it.
