Getting this error; FATX: File byte offset to physical byte offset failed during non-cached synchronous I/O. [0xC0000102]. I have read a thread about it but couldn’t understand it fully. I’ve never experienced this error before 5 minutes ago. I’m trying to replace a save file on my 360 hard drive, never had any issues before today. It won’t even take the backup I made before. I’ve restarted Horizon and ran it in Admin mode and still same results.
EDIT
Seeing a lot of solutions saying extract it to desktop/wherever and then open it from you’re PC in Horizon etc., this is going to sound really stupid but how do I open it in Horizon? I’m trying to transfer a Fallout: New Vegas save file and there isn’t a save editor included with Horizon for it, so I’m not sure how to go about opening it with Horizon
Okay, Make sure that your USB is configured for XBOX. Once you know that is done, you must put your profile onto your USB, then open it in horizons along with the maps. Then transfer your account numbers to the Map. Then save to USB, rehash and resign. Hope I helped!
Okay, so to help you with your issue, make sure your USB is configured for your Xbox 360. You can simply to do by going to the storage on your Xbox while the USB is plugged in and their should be an option. Then you must copy your profile to the USB, this is probably one of the most important steps, because your profile ID is included with anything you do with Horizon even Fallout.
Now try doing the same process you did and Save, Rehash, and Resign, and if this didn’t fix your error, please reply back to me, thanks.
Yeah, using the USB is allowing me to transfer saves and what not, but I find it strange that I’ve only just experienced this now instead of when I started using Horizon. Thanks for the help anyway
