Should I RMA this?

So I got an ASUS PB278Q and it was disconcerting to say the least when i notice backlight bleeding

I’m hesitant because I haven’t really found anything good to hear about ASUS and their RMA. More importantly, I could actually get one back with no bleeding, but has dead pixels which they won’t fix unless it exceeds a certain amount. You guys think its worth the chance to RMA? I also assume the shipping costs will be ****. Don’t know how I’m going to get a box for this.

If you just got it RMA it through the retailer. They will normally pay for shipping. But light bleeding is normal on IPS panels.

And yes Asus RMA sucks

If I’m not mistaken UPS will box it for you?

Don’t know the size limit over there though or even if there is one.

Well, after talking to someone from ASUS again, they gave me a FedEx shipping voucher since the last person didn’t give me one.

I didn’t have this problem with my previous IPS monitor which is a 23" LG IPS235. I might send it in after a week of Destiny.
