Sure, we can blame the shitty developer, but how is it that one person can make a working cheat table while this so-called “all-in-one” platform can’t even get the basics right? It would be one thing if they weren’t charging an optional subscription, but they are, and they’re doing a crap job delivering.
At the very least, paying subscribers should be able to call out WeMod’s failures without being brushed off. Honestly, just hire the guy who made the working cheat table. Nobody asked for a mobile app, saved cheat profiles, or fancy changeable hotkeys. What players actually want is a functioning cheat table that does what it’s supposed to do.
I absolutely agree with you. In my opinion the problem is that it is an “all in one” solution and then deciding to stick with that one specific easy of development is what’s holding them back. I’m sure that they probably could make a mod or something like this, but that wouldn’t fit into the Wemod app and their current theme and all that crap. That’s my opinion anyway.
WeMod is not responsible for 2K games using a third party DRM/Anti-Cheat application that SCANS YOUR COMPUTER for operating processes, like WeMod, and then closes its own game if you have one running. The ‘Mod’ works, FOR NOW because it gets around the Anti-Cheat tech but once 2K games gets around to updating their Anti-Cheat to include it, then it wont work. Read the 2K games TOS, they state specifically ANY thing used to ‘cheat’ is subject to their rules.
This is NOT a WeMod issue. It is 100% a developer issue.
Your ire is better directed at 2K games and you should absolutely respond to their forums and places they sell the game with your complaints about how they are using a very intrusive application to gatekeep your single player experience.
I demanded a full refund (got it) and spent the money on a different game and WILL NOT ever buy another 2K games product as long as they are doing this.
