Skyrim Creation Kit Modding for Xbox

So, after looking through the forum, and looking online, I see a lot of people wanting to add mods to the xbox version of Skyrim. What I am wanting to do is much less “complicated”. I want to take my existing inventory on my character on my xbox, change that over to the pc save file, and mod the contents of that inventory in the Creation Kit. Anyone know if this is possible? Change weapon damages and even make one off weapons, rename and change armor values, things like that. Nothing graphics wise, not adding new material or anything. Just changing the values for what is already there, and maybe a name or two. Anyone know if this is possible?

i believe that the armor values are server side, meaning you cant change them.

Do you know if this applies for weapons data as well? Like weapon damage and value?

So. Now I am on a quest to see how this guy did this. He has modded the Xbox version of Skyrim to do things that were “only possible on PC”.

He has modded weapons, the player itself, and everything in between.

All done with console commands on PC, hes an amateur.

So, adding chests with loot, moving walls, and altering weapon names and whatnot can all be done with console commands, and transfered to the xbox? I know about save transfering, and have modded my own stats and whatnot, but some of the stuff this guy is doing is altering the PHYSICAL world itself. I was unaware that there was console commands for that.

Something tells me this was not console commands.

Could anyone actually look at some of this guy’s work? He is doing things that many are merely talking about. I would like to figure out how. This is not console commands. There is no way in hell this is console commands. Specifically look at his Skyrim videos. He is altering entire play spaces and cells. This is not done with console commands. I am thinking he is using the Creation Kit to do this, but I dont know how he is implementing this to his Xbox. Thoughts? Or should I take this quest elsewhere?

it really is console commands and if its not the he sucks because my tardrd sister can do better 3D modeling then that

Feel free to close this discussion. I found out how he did it, and found a tutorial on how to use the Creation Kit to mod xbox save files to alter in game cells to add houses and whatnot.

I would love a link to that Tutorial, Gabriel…

kill-seth’s modding service for skyrim has a link to the console commands.

Just download skyrim for the PC, convert and open your save from xbox, use the console commands to mod it to how you want it, then convert it back and play.

I understand that, what XElysianX is doing is modding his Skyrim saves with the creation kit without have Skyrim on the PC or so I have heard. If he is I would love to know how he is doing it.

He is using the Creation Kit, but he is also using the ‘HxD’ tool. After watching his videos, looking on his Facebook, he actually said that’s all he uses. But I have no idea how it works.

Neither do I, Hybridlion, I wish that there was an dlc that was the creation kit that we could use on Xbox. Most DLC is more game data that we could download on to our consoles so why doesn’t Bethesda come out with a creation kit that we could use on our consoles.

I thought about downloading Skyrim for the PC for free except my computer can’t handle it and creation kit also I am afraid of getting busted 2 years down the line. So I am like a lot of Xboxers stuck. I am seriously contemplating not getting the DLC coming out as if it has a lot of errors there is no way to fix them on console. I get my bugs that I have on my quests in Skyrim fixed by Kill_Seth and that makes me feel like such a damn leech. Actually if I knew that there was going to be so many bugs on Skyrim I wouldn’t of gotten it. My nephews won’t even play Skyrim because of the bugs. 50 bucks down the drain for a load of bugs and glitches.

you make it sound so bad. i have played easily over 100 hours of skyrim and the worst thing a bug did to me was make me chuckle a little

Yeah looking back at that post I kinda do but that is what I have experienced with the game. Some folks just don’t have any luck with stuff and I seem to be one of them. Still I don’t have to sound so whiney about it. However I wanted to get my 2 cents in.

It does seem that most players encounter a few bugs but I seem have encountered quite a few. I wish I had the technology to record the bugs I have ran across as I could make some YouTube videos and at least make some money off of the views to where I could save up for a better computer and then get Skyrim for the PC, shoot I’d settle for Oblivion for the PC, what with all the mods out there for it but I would prefer Skyrim.

all i have is the horizon moding kit i would like to change bountys skills and money possibly spells and shouts for the xbox360 but i am not sure how to do this considering i dont have diamond version of horizon plus it dont have the game mod for skyrim but it has it for oblivion so is there any easy way to do what i am asking?? or do i have to pay for a major modding kit

Horizon doesn’t have a Skyrim editor and as far as I know there isn’t one as of now. But you can achieve what you by using the PC version of the game using the console commands and the creation kit.
