Stellaris Cheats and Trainer for Steam

Hey! Have you tried launching the game initially and waiting until you can freely navigate within the game world before opening the mods by clicking PLAY on the WeMod app? If that doesn’t work, try launching the game first, and once you are on the main menu, open the mods by clicking PLAY again.

Yes to both. The first option says it is playing but no mods actually work. Clicking on “Fast Station Construction” will kill the game immediately. The second option just crashes the game on clicking “play.”

Gotcha. try to Verify integrity Files by right-clicking on the game and click Properties. Click on the Local Files tab. Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. Then force quit/close the WeMod App then re-launch the apps.

Make sure to use the most recent trainer version, which you can check by going to the Mods version under Mod settings.

Unfortunately, no joy. I am also using the latest wemod version and no other mods are installed.

I see. While I don’t own the game myself, if it has a save slot feature, could you try creating a new save game and use the trainer if it works?

Already tried several new games. I don’t think this is a me issue at this point.

We totally understand where you are coming from. Can you please confirm what OS version are you currently using?

Certainly. I am running Windows 10 Pro -64 bit

@FatDaddyGamerZ @Asbjorn2649 We have reported the issue to the team, and they’ll have someone test it. We’ll get back to you as soon as we get updates.

I was going to list what doesn’t work, but it’d be faster to just say what does.

  • Freeze Day

Hi! Our testing team provided an update and confirmed that the trainer is working as intended. We highly suggest to reinstall WeMod App and check if it works. Thanks!

Good news, The reinstall worked but it needed an extra step. When I removed and reinstalled WeMod, it didn’t work at first. When I did it again, I went in and deleted the left over wemod folder before doing the reinstall and it works now.

Oh perfect, i’ll give that shot. Let’s hope those 2 cheats are on different keys too.

EDIT:
Nah still the same.
2 Cheats on the same button.
Nothing but 2 cheats work.
Followed the step-by-step on the side of WeMod. This shouldn’t be the step-by-step as it launches via a launcher and that always encounters an error.

Tried using Play to launch the game.
Tried clicking Play on the Menu screen of the game.
Tried clicking Play while fully moving in a brand new game.
Tried grabbing the .exe and dropping it into the Play button, launching that way.

All result in the same thing

Even when clicking Play it said not all mods are working but most are

Any news on a fix?

Is there anyone I can contact that might expedite this? This is only a new problem for me because I just started playing again, but it seems the mod version hasn’t been updated in 7 months. I believe I’ve provided enough evidence in my last 2 posts, but I feel this thread has gone stagnant.

Hey!

Came back to the game myself, after long pause… Again.
Can’t say for sure for other cheats, but if you do have problems with resource cheats/mods, it may be same problem that have occured before, and can even still present after updates for Stellaris…
There’s my post that have helped some here.

So it’s like this:

  1. Make yourself a new game. Just don’t do anything else than create a game with what you want to be there (faction, world, ect) and at start save your new game and quit the game.
  2. Check that you have “Resume” in your game launcher, in one that opens when you start Stellaris via steam. (I assume you have steam version)
Also check that resuming game gets you to same new save you just created.
After checking that, close the game again…

Now, there is two ways how you can continue:

  1. Have game launcher closed, open your WeMod software and go to Stellaris page.
  • Press “Play”
  • When Stellaris launcher opens, start the save immediately by pressing “Resume”
  • Wait game to launch and load the save and at same time WeMod to recognize the game being on.
  • Test if anything works now…

:point_up:This can be compromised by WeMod being WeMod and starting to whine about how it doesn’t recognize the game or something, then you have to start again.

  1. Have game launcher open, open your WeMod software and go to Stellaris page
  • Press “Play”
  • Quick after that, press “Resume” in Stellaris launcher to start to loading the game/save.
  • Wait the game to start loading the save and WeMod to recognize the game being on.
  • Test if anything works now…
 Ya! During pressing “Play” in WeMod Stellaris page, there may be a error notice by Stellaris game launcher that game is already on or something… SO this may compromise your starting stage here…

Still, I’m not support guy so can’t be sure what is problem there with other mods/cheats so… Just saying that after I checked this forum for comments about state of trainer, I also tested cheats I use often. And most of them seems to work…
But at least resources are ok for me, after doing start stage that way I have done before.

Helluva reply! Thanks so much. Aight here goes nothing.

I managed to super quickly press resume and have WeMod stay loading and then on. Same end result though. Same with option 2. I just don’t get it. I have no other issues on any other games. It’s just this game.

The one thing that might not be coming across to people in my previous posts, it’s the Gamepass button/version i’m trying to use.

Hey! May I know where did you purchase your game from? Make sure to use the most recent trainer version, which you can check by going to the Mods version under Mod settings.

Hmmm…
Gamepass is Xbox related, so I think that it may be “Xbox” as “Game Source” (by mod settings in WeMod Stellaris page)

Checked Mods version for Steam in there and it was updated just before november, and GOG version was updated at start of november.
Xbox version of mods are updated last in July

That may be the problem.
