Stellaris Cheats and Trainer for Steam

these commands have no effec

Dev mode still works, along with the fast build and research ones. use dev mode than type max_resources honestly it’s better than using the unlimited cheats as the unlimited ones max out at 9,999 and you cannot build mega buildings due to it being so low.

So I’m experiencing some troubles with the trainer as mentioned above. The trainer does not even want to start the cheats for me. Any ideas on how to fix it? (I already allowed WeMod in both firewall and anti-virus).

are you picking the right type? I know for some reason after the update GOG ended up being the selected one on me and I have to make sure steam was clicked. also hit yes when the pop up comes up about it being out of date.

Make sure you’re also on the right version, you might be on an older version without realizing it.

Yes, the problem was with that one  Thanks for the help.

It is frustrating that we make requests that are ignored. The resource limits are too low.

So I know the Nemesis DLC just came out, and I’m looking forward to getting it, but when I go to play Stellaris with WeMod, it listed as ‘not compatible’, and I don’t know why. My game is up to date as far as Steam is showing me, so Im wondering if maybe its WeMod that needs the update since Nemesis just came out?
Note: I only play in single player, not online multiplayer, if that makes a difference here.

@eladath - Suggestions (they’re not requests, they’re suggestions) are considered by the trainer developer. That doesn’t mean they’ll make it into the trainer. Trainer developers are limited by what the game allows them to create cheats for, it depends how the game was made and coded. Or sometimes a suggestion is possible but it would take far too much time and work to get it operational, due to the way the game was made, taking too much time away from other trainers getting updated.

@Spud_the_Devourer - Click the History button, which is under the Play button in the trainer, and make sure the most recent trainer version is selected from the list.

Thank you for the response. The resource cap was higher in earlier versions of this trainer, and there have been several suggestions since it was dropped to the current level. If there had been some response to any of the suggestions, it would have helped us understand. Once again, thank you for the response.

The low resource max is especially annoying for alloys. It costs 10k alloys to upgrade a megastructure, but the max is just one short of that.

You guys realize you can just disable it, use the console command to give yourself the max, it only goes to your resource max each month. Honestly, the trainer could almost consist only of the console command, there’s nothing the trainer allows you to do that you can’t with the console.

That’s what I do, but the advantage of the trainer is I only have to set it once at game start, and I can forget about it. With the console, I have to give myself more resources every few minutes.
Also, some people may be trying to cheat for achievements, so they can’t use the console either.

You can use the console with the trainer to get achievement in Ironman mode.

Exactly what faceclick wrote, enabling the console command with the trainer doesn’t disable achievements.

Neat, didn’t know that option was there. Regardless, it’s still more useful to use the trainer to freeze values.

Wile it is more useful (I do agree on that point) freezing values is something that can take a toll if you let it activated because you are constantly injecting the value.
Using the console command allow you to just write max_ressources which top up all your ressources storage, rendering useless the freezing value option which is too low at the moment to be useful late game.

Btw If someone wants some links for useful console commands I can post it (only if you want).

Next time the mod makers look to update the mod, Could they look and see if they can change the unlimited resources to maybe add (X set amount) of resources? Not sure if that’s something that can be done or not.

dude, I cant thank you enough for posting that thing about ‘max_resources’. i have like four mega structures that i havent been able to upgrade past the initial creation. i would defiantly like to see other console commands if you have them

Okay here are some of the commands I really like:

  • effect remove_modifier = relic_activation_cooldown pretty explanatory
  • research_technology tech_repeatable_improved_core_system_cap it allows you to increase your admin capacity, meaning you can expand much more easily without repercussion
  • effect remove_megastructure = this if you want a megastructure gone select it and enter the command

The stellaris wiki about console command has a lot of interesting one too (species/leader traits / modifying planet / creating megastructure)
To use a lot of console command you will need to get some ID.
Here are the links:

Good luck on your future games  !
