Yes, this was something confirmed by the dev team on their live stream a few days before the game released.
You can perform this setting as early as you can control Riou in the tent at the start of the game.

Is there any possibility to mod through the Karen Dance in Suikoden II??
(I do not own a controller!) 
S1 EXP multiplier does not seem to work.
There is no one.
You can only “edit” the EXP which you can get.
Use it, it works great
depending on where you are in the game for S1, it does work, but it’s best to max it to 999 and will take two battles to level up. 1 for the xp to register, and 1 for it to actually level you up.
I know there’s a Cheat Engine table for it, but unlimited MP instead of set MP would be awesome!
Is there a possibility of adding either an increased item drop rate or 100% item drop rate from battles?
This is tricky because some mobs have more than one drop, and you can only get 1 drop per battle and typically it’s from the first enemy you kill or based off of the enemy in the 1st slot of the lineup. There’s some other options online that work but still not easy to get always get the drop you want if you get say 4 soldiers and 1 golelm but golem is in the back you won’t get their drop as soldiers are on the front row (even if you kill the golem first). Gotta wait for golem to be alone. It’s tricky and was like this back on the PS1 game shark days.
Makes sense. I though there was a way (gameshark, I think) to guarantee an item drop from battle, but it could have been any available item from any of the enemies present back on the PS1 version, but likely that was me not seeing the patterns from the enemy groups and making the connection for which item dropped.

That’s an actual option in the game; no need for a cheat.
Can you please add cheats for all characters and all runes available from the start?!
You can use cheat engine script for it. To get 100% drop rate based on which monster you attack/kill first.
Is it possible for an army battle cheat? i.e. your armies having 99 atk and 99 def?
Playing version 1.02 and only want to use exp multiplier and potch multiplier but it causes the game to crash not instantly but with a few mins as you wonder around ot load into a new area…
the exp cheat doesnt seem to work properly for S2 I have Jowy at 59 my character at 38 and everyone else is at 5. Also the stat cheat doesnt work well either. Can these be fixed

Hello, can the code that speeds up the game also lower it below 1 (like 0.3 for example) and if not, is it possible to find a code for the whack-a-mole mini-game?
