I’m living in Singapore and I’m going on a 25 day vacation to India to visit family and friends. Should I take my Xbox 360 along with me. I’m thinking of taking it as carry on. I’ve read that the security sensors at the airport will damage the Xbox 360’s Disk Reader Drive. Will I be fine? And also there are quite a lot power cuts there as well, not to mention super slow internet. Should I just drop the idea of taking it along with me and take my PS2 along since I don’t really want to risk my Xbox 360 any damage. Mine’s the slim model. Thanks.
I’ve taken my 360 through the airport a bunch of times. I put it in my luggage. It’s fine.
I probably wouldn’t bring it as a carry on but pack it very well with luggage. None of the equipment they run it through should damage components because computers and phones go through them daily.
It’s okay, i passed around 8 consoles before (not on the same trip though) i usually passed around 2 at a time, you should be fine if you put it in the luggage, try to surround it with bubble wrap or any thing that would protect it from bumps and stuff.
