We’ve known about Telltale’s and Mojang’s partnership project for a while now: an episodic adventure series set within the world of Minecraft, but today we have our first glimpse of the game in action.

It’ll be a five-part series, where players control Jesse - portrayed by actor Patton Oswalt - who with his friends, they’re famed for slaying an Ender Dragon, and look up to the legendary Order of the Stone. But not long after, their skills are needed as a “Terror” is unleashed, which threatens the entire world.

“Minecraft: Story Mode is an adventure game, by Telltale Games, set in a Minecraft world.” reads the video description. “It is a five-part episodic series that will take you to the Nether, the Farlands, the End, and beyond! You will drive how the story flows through the decisions you make: what you say to people (and how you say it), and what you choose to do in moments of thrilling action.

“Players will control protagonist Jesse throughout the season, as portrayed by actor Patton Oswalt. Jesse and his group of friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone; four adventurers who slayed an Ender Dragon. The Order is the very best at what they do: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect. While at EnderCon, Jesse and his friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and they must set out on a journey to find The Order of the Stone if they are to save their world from oblivion.”

Minecon 2015 also announced Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, which will be made free to all existing PC owners.

Awful. Just awful. The animations are so poor and so are the graphics and lighting. This, something that I had very high hopes for, is not a train wreak. I really do not understand how they messed up this so bad. There were some of the worst cutscenes I have ever scene. Not to mention, from the look of it, did iron and things make a stone sword…? GG… It just looks awful, the lighting looks like a low end shader, the mouth movements are so off sync, its like I am play Sonic DX… The eyebrows were GLITCHING! IN A CUT SCENE! I mean REALLY! Gamecube games, from the early 2000’s, were not that buggy. This might as well be a Lego game.

It doesn’t look as bad as you made it out to be lol
