Wintermute seems to require a separate trainer.
At the time of this post, there’s one for Steam, but not for Epic currently. You can try the Steam trainer by adding the your Epic version’s .exe to the trainer manually: The Long Dark (Wintermute) Cheats and Trainer for Steam.
